Texas Crawfish Boil

Party today at my Dad's house in Montgomery, TX. The weather looks to be nice and the area has been decorated with blooming bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush. Unfortunately, the crawfish are not being cooperative. Last night they staged what is being dubbed "The Great Crawfish Escape of 2009", and were found flowing in a long march from their holding containers to the dry creek bed in the back of my dad's property. Then, after we spent an hour searching the grounds with flashlights to recaptrue them, they retaliated by ingesting cyanide pills and most were dead by morning.

We're still scurrying around trying to prepare for the coming guests, but here's a little taste of what's to come:
